So many different projects are going on here at MINDDRIVE today. The communications class was broken up into four teams covering social media, photography, videography, and writing. The social media team is working on interviewing the new students and mentors. The Photography team is working on taking close-up photos of everyone for the auto show that will be taking place the first week of March. Xavier, of the videography team, is interviewing automotive teams in the form of a mock news report using MINDDRIVE’s new GoPro camera. The writing team is developing twitter personalities for each of the cars, as well as free writing. The free write topic for today was: if you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why.
The automotive class’ motive is to get all of the cars to the point where the motor compartments have closure pieces and the front of the trunks of each car is finished for installation of hydraulics and steering parts. Each team is working extremely hard and looking forward to the next step in the process.
Now that you are familiar with MINDDRIVE, it’s time for you to get to know each car a little better. Each car has such a strong and unique personality. They are ready to expose their true selves. Team 1 (Final Charge) is a girl with an attitude; sassier than a stroll down the catwalk. She has no filter and says whatever comes to mind. Team 2 (Electric Phoenix) is your stereotypical jock. He is a macho man, who is bossy and arrogant. He’s an alpha male, and Team 1’s twin brother.
Team 3 (Electricidad) is the baby of the bunch. She does not take after her older, twin siblings. She is an introvert and desires to make peace between everyone, and is always tailgating behind mom. Her siblings call her a tattletale. Team 4 (Voltage Vipers), on the other hand, is quite independent and creative. He is in touch with his emotions and is not afraid to express his true feelings. He tries to avoid his family as much as possible, as they embarrass him.
Team 5 (Zap!), the mother of the four, is strongly protective and maternal. She unintentionally babies her kids, and they drive her crazy. She is a single parent and works hard to raise them by herself.
